Just another girls night out with my friend and client Robbie. We had wonderful seats and enjoyed an amazing show by jazz legend Stanley Clarke and his band. The performance was electrifying to say the least. We both have new hair do's and was ready tp take on anything, as you see! We were the only chosen ones that could take photos with the jazz giant. How about that for special treatment?!

Greetings, I hope that everyone had a fantastic Valentines Day! I had a wonderful day and evening. I spent the day with my favorite person, getting pampered at the spa. The evening with a great friend dining at a local spot. Who is my favorite person you ask? That would be ME!!!!

Enough of that, I deciced to rock a new cut for the special day! I enjoyed the ease of styling with this cut. I got a lot of compliments that eve, all eyes on me!

This is becoming one of my favorite do's, I can wear it tightly curled or pinned up on the sides, which you will see in the next photos. I created this with Lock Loops. I just wet the ends a bit, not entirely to the scalp to create super curly ends only.

Restaurant in San Leandro. The food was great as usual! Chocolata's Locks are now 32 months old and mine are 27 months old. Notice the changes, it's like fine wine, just getting better with time!

gave me her own personal flying lady earrings. I was so excited, that I could barely get out a Thank You for choking the tears back. Dr. C's heart is as big as her vision!!!!!!!

She was in town last month and what do you know, she brought her photographer with her. He took some amazing shots of me and several other Sisterlocked sisters. These are some photos of my family and friends as well as a few of my favorite folks. I am also sharing pictures from my family reunion that I was suppose to attend with my Grandma. As I mentioned early, she was one of the family members that I lost this year. She was also my bestfriend. You can see from the photos that we were always out and about together! At the Family Reunion I met a lot of relatives, most all of them shared their stories about my Grandma and Great-Grandma Josephine with me. I was blessed enough to have my Great-Grandma Josie raise me and my children. She lived to be 98.
She was born in 1900, and builded two houses as well as ran two succesful businesses.
Hence the entreprenuer in my blood! I learned that she was the last person to be brought off of the Cherokee Indian Reservation. I also got to see and feel the McFadden Family Bible. This Bible contains births, deaths, and marriages of my family that dates back over 100 years. My Great-Grandmothers parents, William and Myra McFadden started the recording. They originally came from South Carolina to Hempstead County Arkansas area in about 1860.
