Life has been busy! I decided to slow down for just a minute and enjoy some time with a old friend! Now I can catch up with my posting! Starting with the March Sisterlock gathering and photo shoot!

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Just another girls night out with my friend and client Robbie. We had wonderful seats and enjoyed an amazing show by jazz legend Stanley Clarke and his band. The performance was electrifying to say the least. We both have new hair do's and was ready tp take on anything, as you see! We were the only chosen ones that could take photos with the jazz giant. How about that for special treatment?!

Princess Ni Ni

Ni Ni has natural curly hair, I cornrowed the front and gave her nubian knots in the back. This is a great style that works tots, teens or mature ladies.

WINTER CUT- Just in time for Valentines Day

Greetings, I hope that everyone had a fantastic Valentines Day! I had a wonderful day and evening. I spent the day with my favorite person, getting pampered at the spa. The evening with a great friend dining at a local spot. Who is my favorite person you ask? That would be ME!!!!

Enough of that, I deciced to rock a new cut for the special day! I enjoyed the ease of styling with this cut. I got a lot of compliments that eve, all eyes on me!

My son and I heard that Bishop Eddie Long was coming to our church. We made sure that we were there to be graced by his presence. A GLORIOUS DAY was had by all!!!

Looking Good Thanks to Lock Loops

New Hair Style

This is becoming one of my favorite do's, I can wear it tightly curled or pinned up on the sides, which you will see in the next photos. I created this with Lock Loops. I just wet the ends a bit, not entirely to the scalp to create super curly ends only.

Chocolata and Lana

Chocolata and I, on our way to the 4th Lock Gathering. This one was at Sweet Finger
Restaurant in San Leandro. The food was great as usual! Chocolata's Locks are now 32 months old and mine are 27 months old. Notice the changes, it's like fine wine, just getting better with time!

Ni Ni's Back

NiNi turned 2 last month! We spend most of the summer together hanging out and checking out the parks in the area.

******NEW COLOR******

I wanted to do something new, so I decided to color my hair for the Sisterlock Homecoming. It came out great! It's a nice HOT summer color!

Here are a few photos from the Homecoming this year. There were many events and big fun was had by all!! I received a special treat at the Sisterlodge. Dr. Cornwell
gave me her own personal flying lady earrings. I was so excited, that I could barely get out a Thank You for choking the tears back. Dr. C's heart is as big as her vision!!!!!!!

February Visit from Dr. Cornwell

It's always nice to have Dr. Cornwell pay you a visit to answer questions as well as update you on the latest happenings. The evening was informative and enjoyed by all. She even shared some of her poetry!
